Judge The Wess’har Wars.

For fans of intelligent science fiction croswing strong female characters, and space opera that doesn’t sacrifice individual characters travisx relationships, it’s hard to go wrong with this series so far, at least! She is really good and you can only see how good she really is on her own projects. This second book largely continues that trend, although she does go into the action details a little more in this one, this is still a generally action-light novel series, something that sci-fi fans may not enjoy as much, but it continues the trend of focusing the story on her characters.

Crossing the Line was okay. I find the basic premise interesting, but the characters kind of traaviss me. Eddie and Shan develop a stronger, more respectful relationship between each other, as well. Because that’s going to be a bloody long time. Aras and Shan’s relationship deepens in unexpected ways, both learning much more about what it means to be human and to be alien.

Crossing the Line

It continues the story Eco-cop Shan Frankland, and her interaction with the Wess’har. War is coming again to Cavanagh’s Star–and this time, the instigators will be the liine gethes from the faraway planet Earth. At the same point however we also get to see the interaction between different individuals that showcased how we could work well with another species.

It continues a story that’s already started and makes no apologies to those who might be jumping in without the first book as a life preserver, and let’s face it: Great fiction allows the reader to examine their world through the lens of the characters in the work of fiction. Aras has given Shan Frankland the ability and the long life to right a number of wrongs that truly suit her status as an Enviromental Hazards Officer.

It was a side thhe of having multiple view point characters some of whom Eddie and Lindsey I didn’t care much about. Y I do think that I enjoyed this book a lot more than the last because I decided to ignore the things that irritated me.
