Could not understand why the hero liked the heroine but found myself warming up to her. I also thought that the Hero was serious about making his world about her and his daughter.

I’m going to paraphrase Dahlia the heroine in Blindsided: But I loved them, Dahlia and Ms. Williams because this book is as great and as fun as her debut book Choices. I didn’t think it possible that she could outdo the cuteness of Justin from Choices but she most certainly did with Reese. This is an uncomplicated fun read.
I und I’m going to paraphrase Dahlia the heroine in Blindsided: I understood Dahlia’s reluctance — and was happy with her growth and courage. It was a fun read. It is a keeper. Apr 15, Just – The romance reader rated it liked it Shelves: I expected the book to be totally focused on the romantic relationship between Norris and Dahlia, and was pleasantly surprised that although that was the basis of the plot, Norris’ discovery that he has a sixteen year old daughter also plays a huge part in the story.
Additionally, I appreciated the fact that although it was acknowledged that Norris and Dahlia are a mixed race couple and that can present some challenges, there wasn’t an unnecessary emphasis put on their races. I enjoyed all the characters, there was one thing I didn’t particularly like about Norris though. He’s a very macho, self-assured, and at times egotistical man, but some of the things he said didn’t seem to match that personality.
The way Norris sometimes responded to something in conversation, or would occasionally refer to himself felt more like something a female character, possibly the writer herself would say. It was just an occasional thing, and not something that affected the overall story for me. View all 6 comments.

Along the way we find out Norris has a 16 year old daughter he’s never known about because her crazy yes that’s my assessment mother decided she just wanted a sperm donor and not a father for her child.

Nov 11, Deloris rated it really liked it. I really enjoyed this book Norris and Reese were so funny and cute together. Norris was all that and then some to the ladies but Dahlia was tamed the beast. Dahlia was afraid of the love she had for Norris so she would not acknowledge her love for him, but Norris was a man that was used to getting what he wants so he would not take no for an answer. This book is about love of friends love of family, acknowledging the love you have if you read this book you will not be disappointed.
